The Role
The Navy Engineering Branch is seeking a high performing human resource professional to join the Directorate of Professional Engineering and Governance (DPEG).
Under the broad direction of the Director Commercial, this position will be accountable to perform and achieve complex work within an integrated workforce.
This position provides general human resources, change and recruitment management support to the wider Navy Engineering Branch (NEB) including regular liaison with the Senior Executives.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the recruitment function for the Branch and taking a proactive approach to manage the workforce by providing guidance and general HR advice to staff and executive.
Undertaking a broad range of HR activities such as vacancy management, workforce planning, leading continuous improvements, understanding the employee life cycle to better employee experiences and providing regular reporting.
You will also:
Exercise a high degree of independence.
Perform a leadership role within the team.
Engage in complex problem-solving issues and management activities.

The Directorate of Professional Engineering and Governance (DPEG) within Navy Engineering Branch is responsible for the business administration and governance of the Branch and supporting the professionalisation of the Navy Engineering workforce.
