The Library is seeking to fill an ongoingDBA/Datawarehouse Systems Engineer (EL 1) role in the Technology Operations Section of the Digital Branch.
This is a critical role designed to support the development and management of the National Library’s Analytics Platform (LAP) project. The role requires a unique blend of skills in database administration and data warehouse system engineering, ensuring not only the stability and optimal performance of our database systems but also enhancing our business intelligence and data analytics framework.

The ideal candidate will have good written and communication skills and the experience to communicate with stakeholders at all levels confidently.
To be successful in this role you must have:
- Expertise in managing Microsoft SQL Server clusters, Azure cloud services and resources including Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL databases and Power BI.
- Extensive experience in data warehousing, data modelling, and ETL processes.
- Proficiency in SQL for varied applications and environments.
Knowledge of Linux platform, experience in Mysql and high availability setup, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Powershell and/or Linux platform scripting languages will also be highly regarded.
