About the Role:
The EL 1 Assistant Director Workforce Planning is an important team leadership position and will have delegated authority and responsibility to resolve issues and risks across wide-ranging activities of substantial depth involving significant detail.
The position is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate on behalf of the client to advance their interests across a range of forums.
Responsibilities of the Role include but are not limited to:
- Lead a multi-functional team in a contact centre environment, assisting in forecasting work efforts as required.
- Provide end-to-end Workforce Planning functions for the client.
- Ensure the maintenance of capacity and recruitment planning.
- Lead engagement with internal and external stakeholders to inform the planning cycle.
- Respond to short-term changes in plans to optimise performance.
- Lead and schedule activities for agents.
Key skills required for the Role include:
- Capacity and recruitment planning to maintain strategic capacity.
- Leading strong stakeholder engagement to be able to inform on the client's planning cycle in a way that is appropriate and readily understood.
- Delivering end-to-end Workforce Planning including rostering, scheduling and forecasting.
- Team leadership experience.
- Data analytics skills.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of operations including the drivers of performance in a call centre environment.
