Our esteemed federal government client is looking for an Assistant Director (EL1 equivalent) to join our growing agency in the national intelligence field and take on the challenge of managing our budget requirements.
As the Assistant Director, you will be responsible for preparing and managing internal and external budgets, Portfolio Budget Statements, and internal management reporting. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders across the department, to develop and monitor detailed operational and capital budgets, establish internal controls, and represent the department at internal and external meetings.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Current TSPV Security Clearance (or previously held)
- Experience in preparing Portfolio Budget Statements and managing budget data in FMIS and CBMS
- Ability to provide advice and support on NPP costings and detailed costing justifications
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to innovate and drive initiatives to improve budget management policies and processes
