The Role
ASD’s Cloud Division is seeking experienced and suitable candidates to deliver product management work within an integrated workforce. As a Cloud Product Manager you will thrive in fostering a cohesive team environment whilst having an in-depth knowledge of compliance and legislative frameworks, government decision making and the Australian Signals Directorate’s mission and policy requirements. This will be supported by the knowledge of working in a Cloud team environment, outstanding stakeholder engagement and driving team and financial performance.
As an EL1 Product Manager you will be required to:
- Plan, lead and manage a range of human and physical resources and exercise the associated people and financial responsibilities to achieve business outcomes. You will manage one or more teams.
- Develop and implement work plans, set performance indicators, and review individual, team and business performance, focusing on identifying opportunities for building team capability and continuous product improvement.
- Accountable for managing and leading a team, including providing clear and consistent communication, setting clear performance and behavioural standards, managing performance, delegating responsibility and guiding and developing people
- Accountable to manage a range of product management activities and coordinate inputs in accordance with procedures, methods and standards appropriate to the complexity of the product.
- Review, analyse and report on product performance.
- Translate, apply and implement the administrative, operational, contract management, technical and resource requirements for complex to very complex product management activities
- Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to understand and anticipate their needs, translating them into product requirements.
- Participate in creating and managing product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements, overseeing all stages of product creation including design, development and/or implementation.
- Build and foster stakeholder relations, educating them on the benefits of Product Management lifecycle
