The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client as an EL1/EL2 Workforce Planner (Organisational Design) on a 6-month labour-hire basis with the potential for a further 12-month extension.

You will be joining a supportive team environment where you can work independently and contribute to impactful projects. Flexible working arrangements are available, making this role ideal for experienced Workforce Planners seeking a dynamic opportunity.

The Role

As the EL1/EL2 Workforce Planner, you will be responsible for:

• Independently conducting role evaluations using the APS Role Evaluation Tool
• Conducting interviews with staff to gather information regarding role responsibilities and accountabilities, including tasks, duties, and delegations
• Verifying information and seeking further clarification with role supervisors (General Managers – SES Band1)
• Assessing the information gathered against the APS Work Level Standards using the APS Role Evaluation Tool
• Writing up assessments and outcomes
• Analysing outcomes and challenging the status quo to identify opportunities considering best practice Organisational Design and the APS Optimal Management Structures Guidance 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to:

• Communicate effectively with peers and executives
• Work to tight deadlines, demonstrating high levels of organisation and coordination
• Analyse complex information and develop innovative solutions
• Collaborate effectively within a team environment
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to professional development and continuous improvement

• $70/hr - $95/hr + Super
• 6-month labour-hire basis with the potential for a further 12-month extension
