Workforce Planner, Organisational Design

Pay range: $100.00 - $110.00 p/h ex super

About the role:

The Workforce Planner is an Organisational Design professional who will work within the Workforce team to conduct an Organisational Design project.

Due to the nature of the review, while the candidate will be in a supportive team environment, the successful candidate will need to work independently.

Duties:

• Assess the information gathered against the APS Work Level Standards using the APS Role Evaluation Tool
• Conduct role evaluations using the APS Role Evaluation Tool
• Conduct interviews with staff to gather information regarding the role responsibilities and accountabilities, including tasks, duties and delegations
• Analyse outcomes to look for opportunities considering best practice Organisational Design and the APS Optimal Management Structures Guidance

Required experience/skills:

• Experience in the review of Organisational and Job Design, assessing workforce risk and making recommendations on findings

Desirable experience/skills:

• Experience in working to these deliverables:
  • Conduct role evaluations
  • Develop project plans
  • Develop Consultation and Communication plans
  • Develop written role evaluations
  • Provide written reports on recommendations
