The Opportunity Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical Control Systems that drive the efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes. You are an early riser, happy to start work early at 6:30AM and finish early at 2:30PM. This role follows a rotational schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off with on call responsibilities. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, review and analyse electrical Control Systems for various manufacturing processes, ensuring they meet industry standards and safety regulations Design and develop control panels, including selecting appropriate components, wiring, and programming PLCs for automated machinery Diagnose and resolve electrical Control System issues, minimising downtime and optimising production efficiency Maintain comprehensive documentation of electrical Control Systems, including schematics, manuals, and standard operating procedures. Conduct tests and inspections to verify the functionality and safety of electrical Control Systems, making necessary adjustments as required.
