CGC Recruitment have partnered with a key client for the recruitment of an Electrical Design Engineer (Material Handling Equipment) The role is based in the Southern Suburbs of Perth and is a Monday-Friday role (No FIFO)
The Company:
A leading engineering/manufacturing business that specialises in the design & manufacture of Material Handling equipment. The business is family owned and operated and has a fantastic reputation within the industry for staff retention and staff happiness & well-being.
The Role: - Design Development: create and implement Electrical Designs for a diverse range of Material Handling equipment, including Hoists, Winches & Cranes
- Technical Expertise: Provide expertise in component and system selection, ensuring optimal performance and reliability
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into the overall product design
- Documentation: prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and technical reports to facilitate effective communication within the design and manufacturing process.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and evaluation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and contribute to the enhancement of design processes.
Qualifications and Skills:- Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Electrical drafting background (Would be considered)
- Proven experience in Electrical Design Engineering, preferably in the field of Material Handling equipment or similar industrial field
- Proficient in design software and tools relevant to electrical engineering
What does the role offer:- Permanent employment salary range 140-160k per annum + superannuation
- Perth based role be home every night the role is based South of the River
