We are looking for a motivated Electrical Designer Engineer for a client in Perth, CBD. This is a contract or permanent role and it involves working on diverse and rewarding projects within the Mining and Resources Sector.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and delivery of Electrical Design and drawing deliverables, ensuring client satisfaction and contributing to the growth of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development and Delivery: Create and deliver high-quality Electrical Design and drawing deliverables, meeting project requirements and deadlines.
- Project Management: Administer and manage drawing deliverables across multiple projects and clients. Execute allocated project tasks and ensure compliance with discipline design commitments.
- Technical Support: Respond to technical queries and provide support to the engineering team. Contribute to effective technical and business outcomes.
- Autonomous Work: Work autonomously to manage and execute allocated projects, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively across the organisation to ensure efficient project delivery, utilising past projects, templates, procedures, standards, and codes of practice.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, systems, and processes within the organisation.
- HSEQ Compliance: Comply with Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality standards within the area of specialisation.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Manage project budgets and schedules in collaboration with the engineering team and Project Managers.
Key Requirements:
- 1-6 years of experience in an engineering design environment.
- Australian-based experience in the Mining and Resources Sector.
- Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD and Microstation platforms.
- Certificate 3 in Engineering at TAFE is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and strong computer literacy.
- High level of organisation and time management.
- Enthusiastic and motivated with the ability to work autonomously.
