We are currently seeking a dynamic and self-motivated Electrical Designer to join an agile engineering consultancy in Perth, WA.
Our client are currently involved in a range of projects both within Australia and internationally, and with further excellent projects in the pipeline, we are inviting applications for Electrical Designers with 2+ years of experience.
The Role:
The role(s) will form part of the core professional group and will contribute strongly to the overall project delivery capability of the team. In this role, you will:
- Provide electrical design and drafting support for a range of projects.
- Produce single line, schematic and termination diagrams as required by the drawing office.
- Coordinate the drawings for each project, ensuring the accurate recording of revisions and tracking of documents.
- Review and recommend design improvements in consultation with project engineers.
- Liaise with clients, relevant authorities and suppliers as required to ensure accuracy of drawings.
To be successful, you will also have:
- Project design experience, ideally in minerals processing applications.
- Experience in developing Single Line Diagrams, Schematic Diagrams and Termination Diagrams,
- Proven AutoCAD experience (essential),
- Proven MicroStation experience (essential),
- Auto-cad 3D Modelling experience,
- Ability to interpret project specifications,
- Ability to interpret PLC I/O spreadsheets,
- A demonstrable positive can-do attitude,
- Problem solving and analytical skills
