We are looking for a talented, skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team on a full-time permanent basis and contribute to the delivery of engineering designs, feasibility studies & projects, prepare technical reports related to specific design issues. You will be part of a diverse engineering team and be working closely with the Electrical Engineering Manager and the rest of the engineering team.
Your Opportunity with Dynapumps:
As an Electrical Engineer, your responsibilities will include but not limited to –
- Review allocated projects handed over in association with the Tendering and/or Sales team to finalise the scope of work & deliverables.
- Prepare, review & optimise designs of project based electrical packages.
- Ensure all electrical designs are cost effective, ergonomically and logically laid out.
- Monitoring of allocated technical project related workshop progress, documentation and testing, as applicable.
- Assisting with PLC system programming and fault diagnosis where required
- Help with coordinating, procuring, and organising electrical parts and equipment.
- Provide technical support for allocated projects and workshop staff, for systems in the production stages.
- Provide continual improvement on engineering processes and designs, and opportunities for optimization and standardization.
What You Will Need:
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Mechatronic Engineering (or related discipline).
- Electrical Design for quoting and manufacture – development of single line diagrams, electrical schematic and control panel layouts
- Electrical regulation/compliance knowledge.
- Computer and IT skills, including MS Office, Adobe.
- Prior experience with PLCs and controller wiring and programming (desirable)
- 2D & 3D drawing ability in AutoCAD (desirable).
- Safety focus with a good understanding of Workplace Health and Safety principles.
