As a Project Manager at Espec, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of a suite of High Voltage Electrical Projects from Design to completion. You will be responsible for managing project schedule, budgets, resources, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Key responsibilities Lead and manage Electrical Projects from initiation to closeout, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track progress against key milestones. Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements, provide regular updates, and address any concerns or issues. Identify and mitigate project risks and implement effective risk management strategies. Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to allocate resources, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth project execution. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards, and implement best practices to promote a safe working environment. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure quality control. Prepare and present project status reports, budget forecasts, and other relevant documentation to stakeholders. Desired Skills and Experience
Relevant tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager within Electrical Site based experience in engineering and construction industry / a maintenance industrial environment or heavy industry. Working knowledge and practical application relevant (latest editions) Statutory Requirements, State Legislation, Australian Standards and Site Requirements. Experience managing high-value complex projects Proficiency in MS Office, and MS Project Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Strong understanding of scheduling and optimising production out of work crew Willing to work on a wide range of tasks involving on and off-site work and often irregular hours.
