Nickel West Cliffs
Nickel West Cliffs is located approximately 375 kilometres north of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia. Cliffs underground Nickel Mine is an integral part of Nickel West Leinster comprising of an underground mine approximately700m deep, a paste plant, plus surface ancillary equipment located 12 kilometres south of Nickel West Mt Keith. The Fixed Plant maintenance team is responsible for all surface and underground infrastructure on site.
Employees at Cliffs reside at the Mt Keith village, some of the amenities at your disposal include internet connection, outdoor swimming pool, health and fitness equipment, indoor cricket, basketball court, BBQ areas plus and arrange of social activities.
About You
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- A grade electrical licence
- Experience working in an Underground hard rock environment
- HV switching certificate preferred but not essential
- Experience with Sandvik development and production drills
- Underground communication system knowledge
- Experience on fixed plant equipment with an ability to read schematics and troubleshoot
- Minimum of C class manual drivers licence
- Experience with statutory compliance requirements for Mine Safety and Inspection Act
- Ability to work well within a team to achieve outcomes
- EWP, Forklift, Dogging and Rigging Certificates (desirable)
- 1SAP experience (desirable)
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills
