About the Role:
RED is proud to be working with a client who's reputation has been built on a 30+ year history of delivering high quality service outcomes for customers. A multi-disciplinary service & project execution company for instrumentation calibration, controls, and electrical installation and maintenance services.
RED is looking to add 4 suitably qualified and experienced Electricians. Working in a team of 2 other guys in the substation and a technical supervisor on two shifts Days/Nights.
Over this 10-day shutdown, you and the small team will be tasked with Work including PLC, Control work, Electrical control, Electrical terminations, safety indications, old substation changing over to a new system Lv1 and Lv2 - don't need to have isolations everything will be isolated, may need faulting as part of commissioning of the substation, plus other associated duties.
To be successful in the role you will be driven to succeed and hold the following skills/tickets/background -
• Current SA Electrical Licence (unrestricted)
• Ideally have instrumentation experience but do not need to hold instrumentation ticket
• White Card
• Preferably already BHP inducted
• LVR/CPR (within 12 months)
• Fault Finding Experience
• Strong communication skills
• Good understanding of safety standards and regulations

• $59.56/hr Flat Rate Day Shift
• 68.49/hr Flat Rate Night Shift
• Camp, Food, Flights (ex-Adelaide only) provided
• Start date - 5st March
• 12 Hour Shifts
• 10-day shut - possibility of ongoing opportunity available after
