We are seeking a passionate and multi-talented electronic or mechatronic engineer to work on cutting edge scientific instruments for DNA analysis. The role requires expertise across a broad range of disciplines from electronics and mechanical design to software. The available role is full time, on site at our facility at Yatala - only 25 minutes from Brisbane.
You will be working with a small team of engineers and scientists to develop revolutionary new products, complete existing projects and support the production team. Knowledge and skills in the following disciplines are highly desirable:
- Production engineering
- Mechanical design
- Technical documentation
- Firmware development in C languages
- PC software development using .NET languages
- Analog and digital design
- Control systems for motor and temperature control
- System level design and integration
You will also have the opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in the field of molecular biology.
Candidates should have a Bachelor of Electronic or Mechatronic Engineering degree.
