About the Role
You will mainly be responsible for repairing and maintaining electronic/electromechanical systems and proprietary control software. The successful candidate will be provided with extensive on the job training and a tool package.
This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisors and will be based at our Moomba, SA operations on a 3/3 FIFO roster.
Key Responsibilities
- Fault diagnosing using schematics, test equipment and diagnostic software
- Maintenance/Repair of pressure and mass flow measuring devices
- Maintains a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware
- Electronics cabling and component level PCB repairs
- Light fabrication work and accurate SAP data entry
Role Requirements
- Previous Energy industry experience (Highly desirable)
- Experience in an electronic maintenance environment
- Relevant qualification in Electronics/Electrotechnology
- Knowledge of computer networking and serial communications
- Lateral thinking skills with ability to problem solve
- Adaptable self-starter that can work autonomously or in a team
- Exemplary interpersonal communication skills
- Restricted Electrical licence (Desirable)
