Attention all Electronics Technicians with a zeal for excellence! Nobles is on the hunt for a dynamic individual who thrives on the technical intricacies of our industry. As part of our team, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our products not only meet but exceed customer expectations and industry benchmarks. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, repairing, and calibrating customer and Nobles’ products relating to force measurement. We're searching for someone who can seamlessly blend practical technical support with exceptional customer service, all while tackling calibration-related tasks with finesse. Tasks and responsibilities may include:
- Provide inspection, troubleshooting, calibration, test and repair of electronic equipment for external customers.
- Assembly and wiring of electronic components to support the activities of Nobles using relevant precision, skills, and expertise.
- Process quotes and repair or replace customers’ components and equipment.
- Process sales orders to provide efficient and professional phone support to our internal sales team and external customers.
- Contribute to new ideas, designs, and prototypes.
- Conduct reviews for load measuring equipment designs.
- Manipulate large and small load cells safely using appropriate lifting apparatus and calibrate items by operating hydraulic load testing equipment.
- Formal Electronics qualifications equivalent to diploma level or higher or a minimum of Certificate 2.
- Familiarity with soldering to IPC level class 2 or level 3 and an ability to operate standard electronics laboratory equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to solve technical problems and apply initiative, with sound judgement, to accomplish desired outcomes and solutions. Strong commitment to safety.
- High-level verbal and written communication skills coupled with the ability to provide clear and comprehensive information.
