Responsibilities:
- Set up, install, and operate audio visual equipment for events, conferences, and productions.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AV systems.
- Collaborate with clients, event coordinators, and production teams to understand and fulfil their audio visual requirements.
- Conduct equipment checks, ensuring everything is in working order prior to events.
- Assist with the transportation and handling of AV equipment.
- Provide technical support during events, troubleshooting any issues that may arise.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the AV industry.
Skills Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electronics Technician or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of LED Screens, audio visual equipment, and video equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.
- Well organised, strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members, clients, and event organizers.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support event schedules.
- Reliable and well presented.
- NSW Driving Licence – desirable with excellent driving skills
- Work authorisation for Australia, we can look into the sponsorship prospects for the right candidate.
Your duties will include:
- Examine and run tests to assess the electronic devices to test functionality, diagnose faults, install and update software and trouble shoot writing problems
- Repair and replace worn or defective components of the electronic devices such as LED, IC’s, connectors etc.
- Ensuring extremely high quality of workmanship on all repairs
- Staying on top of new technologies and repair processes to ensure adequate knowledge of the new screen versions
- Identifies when a certain repair is becoming common, and advises the operations team/management in advance to meet possible increasing demand and correcting procedures
- Ensure repairs are kept maintained and up to date

- Expected salary: $65,000 - $75,000 per year
