Nodo is an innovative, dynamic and young business full of passionate and talented people who all bring Nodo to life every day. Nodo launched their first café bakery in Newstead in 2016. Since then, they have opened more cafés in Camp Hill, Southbank & Hawthorne, 3 kiosks at West Village, Everton Park and in the City and 2 pop ups within Westfield.
Nodo is passionate about delivering a high quality, artisan product to their loyal following of customers in Brisbane and want to ensure a consistent product across all stores.
Ideally we would like our Cafe Manager to come to us with experience in a restaurant or large coffee shop setting. Someone who is approachable, bubbly, proactive and hard working. A genuine lover of hospitality, and someone who prides themselves in delivering an unparalleled customer experience.

Reporting to the C.O.O and Area Manager, this role is hands on. You will be responsible for training and nurturing all the front of house staff to ensure systems and procedures are being followed and customers are receiving the highest level of service that leaves them with a positive, memorable experience.

• Driving team performance to maximise sales and profitability, while delivering world-class service standards
• Work with Executive Chef to gain strong understanding of Nodo food culture and menu, to enable training and education of direct staff
• Solve problems during operations and take appropriate corrective actions
• Seek business opportunities that will assist Nodo in building strong community relationships
• Control and meet KPI's set by management through strong staff management
• Experience and understanding of modern alcohol offerings .
• You must have at least 1-2 years experience in a similar leadership role
• You must have at least 2-4 years experience in the hospitality industry
• Good understanding of specialty coffee and ability to operate machine is a plus!
• Able to work calmly in high pressure situations.
