We seek experienced Emergency Services Officers who can provide frontline Emergency Services to a site-based workforce, working a 2/2 FIFO, full-time role.
About the Role
You will work with a team of other professional ESOs, Paramedics, and Security Officers to provide first response and manage all emergency incidents that occur on and off-site as required.
Duties are but are not limited to:
- First response to all emergency incidents and alarms
- Assist paramedics as required
- Assist security at the beginning and the end of the shift in access and egress duties
- Equipment and vehicle checks
- Train and mentor ERT Members
- Conduct fire extinguisher training for the workforce as required
- Conduct Drug & Alcohol screening
- Other duties as required
Must:
- Certificate III in Mine Emergency Response and Rescue
- Certificate IV in Health Care (Ambulance)
- Minimum Manual Medium Ridgid Driver's License
You will have already or be willing to obtain the following within 6 months:
- Certificate II in Security Operations or above (See below)
- WA Security License (See below)
- Maritime Security Identification Card
- Maritime Security Guard Training
- Vertical Rescue
- Confined Space Rescue
- Operate pumps
- Drive vehicles under operational conditions
- Alcohol and Other Drugs Collector
- Gas Test Atmospheres
- Work Safely at Heights
- Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
- Monitor hazardous atmospheres
Highly Desirable:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116
- Wildfire
