6 weeks’ annual leave (30 days) Varied and interesting role with the opportunity to learn and grow in the Employee Relations space while supporting Local Government in WA Flexible, friendly, inclusive, and supportive team and workplace environment Administration AssistantEmployee Relations 12-Month Full Time Fixed-Term Contract Total Package $70,621.20 per annum (inclusive of superannuation guarantee) The Western Australia Local Government Association (WALGA) is seeking a highly organised, proactive, and efficient individual to join the team and contribute to supporting our dynamic Employee Relations (ER) team who provide an industrial relations, Employee Relations and human resources advisory service to Local Governments in WA and the NT. This role will play a crucial part in supporting the administrative processes that drive our ER initiatives and will support the team to ensure seamless delivery of ER services to the sector. Our idea; candidate will thrive in a busy environment and is looking for a position that offers exposure to a wide range of issues and opportunities that will provide invaluable experience and broaden their knowledge and experience of Local Government, Industrial Relations, and WALGA. To be successful in this role you will have Diploma or Certificate in Industrial Relations, Human Resources or a related discipline (desirable) Demonstrated experience in an administrative role supporting a team Experience in organising meetings, taking minutes and drafting reports Proficient in creating, editing and collating information Experience in working with websites, bulk email applications and data bases Previous experience in a customer service related organisation (desirable) Understanding the importance of professionalism in handling confidential information What are we offering?
