We are currently working with a number of different clients to find interim Employment Relations Specialists to help them out. These are working across Education, Professional Services and Aged Care and vary in length from 2 months - 6 months.
About the RoleThe types pf responsibilities that you might be involve in include:
- Managing ER queries coming through over the phone and email
- Award interpretation
- Build leadership capability in managing people issue by empowering leaders to take responsibility for their people issues, by providing frameworks that enable the leaders to own the next steps.
- Providing advice and guidance to employees and managers across the business
- Support and documentation of performance management, investigations, disciplinary matters, and general employment matters
- Coaching and mentoring leaders on high level ER matters
- Work on projects to roll out new processes within the business
You will ideally have:
- Experience in interpreting and advising on industrial instruments and
employment regulations, the case management of staff matters, and in applying a strong knowledge of policies, procedures, legislation, and case law to complex issues. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Highly developed interpersonal, relationship management and conflict
resolution skills - Tertiary qualification in Employment Relations, Human Resource Management, or a related area with substantial ER experience.
