The EMR and Informatics Application Specialist - Medication Management role is responsible for delivering the design, functionality, and workflows for Monash Health as they relate to the EMR Medications solution. With clinical safety as a primary focus, the role will have responsibility for engagement and working in a team environment to deliver a reliable, maintained, and optimised EMR.
About our EMR at Monash Health
Monash Health is the largest public health service in Victoria, employing over 22,000 people across a range of specialties. In 2019, Monash Health implemented an integrated Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system across all hospital sites.
This is part of a multi-year staged EMR implementation that is supported by the EMR and Informatics team. The team will support the next phases of the EMR and encompasses continuous improvement, optimisation and digital projects to provide innovative ways to achieve excellent care for patients and clinicians.
About The Role
We are excited to begin the search for a Application Specialist - Medications Management.
This is a full-time, Ongoing role with Monash Medical Centre as the base site.
About You
You have prior clinical application analyst experience with Electronic Medical Records. You are able to thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, team environment and are truly passionate about delivering high standards of work initiatives. You are an advocate of Monash Health’s Strategic Guiding Principles.
What You Need:
- Recognised qualification in relevant health discipline with 2+ years’ experience in healthcare
- Demonstrable experience in Electronic Medical Records
- Australian working rights
