What this opportunity involves:
Are you passionate about sustainability and looking to make a positive impact on energy and water consumption? We are seeking an experienced Energy Analyst to join our team and play a key role in supporting our Energy and Sustainability initiatives.
This role is a hybrid role where you will attend the office 3 days and do 2 days from home.
What this role involves:
- Analysing utility data to inform budgets, financial analysis, and drive sustainability goals.
- Monitoring changes in utility rates, tariffs, and regulations to assess their impact on costs and operations.
- Troubleshooting issues around energy and water billing.
- Developing and managing utility budgets, forecasts, and accruals.
- Analysing and validating utility data, including energy and water bills, consumption patterns, and rates.
- Identifying trends, anomalies, and potential areas for improvement in utility consumption and costs.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, utility companies, and other relevant parties to gather timely and accurate information.
- Conducting benchmarking analysis to compare energy consumption and costs against established standards.
- Collaborating with the operations team and other stakeholders to understand drivers behind utility usage.
- Assisting in gathering and compiling data for sustainability reporting.
- Engaging with utility representatives and other stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and address utility-related issues.
- Ensuring accurate utility data collection and reporting by collaborating with internal teams.

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, Finance, or a related field (beneficial).
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in data analysis using Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to effectively present complex information.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Self-motivated and able to manage competing deadlines.
- Experience with utility billing systems and software is ideal, but not essential
