In the role of Engineer (Civil), with supervision and guidance from senior engineering staff, you will manage the delivery of transport infrastructure planning projects in line with TMR's OnQ Project Management Framework through the administration of contracts and support to the design, construction and Maintenance processes.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Administer engineering consultant contracts under the Infrastructure Building and Construction Panel (IBCP) for the delivery of planning projects in accordance with TMR's OnQ Project Management Framework, standards, policies, and guidelines.
- Proactively manage, in accordance with the department's standards, guidelines and policies, the resource requirements associated with the delivery of planning projects including procurement, financial reporting, contractor reviews whilst demonstrating a high standard of professionalism and ethics.
- Manage under supervision, projects or elements of projects and undertake monthly project activities including financial forecasting, accruals and project performance reporting using TMR's project management system 3PCM.
- Provide support and advice on the planning and design process, to ensure delivery of project outcomes, value for money and best practice are achieved.
- Ensure all quality management procedures are adhered to
- Manage and Maintain effective liaison and communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute towards the wider objectives and priorities of the Project Planning and Corridor Management (PPCM) as required from time to time, including but limited to, the formulation of planning and investment programs, and the participation in technical working groups.
