The Role
An opportunity has become available for a R&D Engineer specialising in Heat Pumps and Heat Pump controls to join our R&D team at Revesby. You will join a team developing the next generation of Heat Pump water and Pool heaters, with responsibility for design, prototyping and testing the new products.
You will also be responsible for supporting the existing range of products through problem solving, on-going engineering development, modification and testing. We are seeking a passionate product developer who can help deliver products supporting Rheem’s low carbon future.
The team is located at our Revesby site however there will be times when you are required to attend our Rydalmere offices.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A relevant degree/qualification in engineering
- Product design experience - refrigeration product design experience will be highly regarded
- Experience with control logic
- A willingness to learn & be flexible and adaptable
- Ability to understand the end customers requirements
- Strong 3D CAD skills with experience in AutoCAD Inventor preferred.
- Ability to work with a team
- Experience in planning and managing projects with different priorities
