Position summary
Due to growth, the team have a new opportunity for an Engineering Manager. The successful candidate will play a vital role in overseeing and managing the technical, commercial, and administrative aspects of operations. Your expertise and leadership will help drive innovation, efficiency, and excellence in water treatment solutions .
The ideal candidate would enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a rapidly growing company.
This role will be based in Melbourne.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare concept and detailed designs for industrial water / wastewater treatment plant capital projects.
- Selection and sizing of Membrane products based on project requirements
- Manage and oversee fabrication of installation accessories, supervise installation, commissioning & integrity testing of projects.
- Mentor engineering team from a process design perspective, providing guidance and direction to ensure successful project execution and continuous improvement.
- Project feasibility assessment & technical sales support during acquisition phase - develop concept designs, provide budgetary pricing etc
- Supervise installation, commissioning and testing / troubleshooting of membrane systems
- Design and innovation of MBR's, UR, RO and other membrane technologies
- Provide appropriate technical and commercial advice to Clients to assist them in the investigation, approval, procurement, operation and maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure
About you
- Degree in Engineering, Chemical preferred
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in water, wastewater or water infrastructure
- Proven success in leading the design of complex water, wastewater or recycled water projects
- Strong understanding of water treatment processes and membrane (UF, MF, RO) systems
- Experience working with capital projects from $5m and up
