THE CLIENT:
Has been established for over 50 years in manufacturing and supplying high quality HVAC-R products and more recently Solar Powered Refrigerated Containers.
THE ROLE:
Reporting to the CEO your responsibilities will include developing and driving a diverse engineering department and supporting the team members with the design and manufacturing of solar power refrigerated containers, industrial coolers, chillers and vacuum plant equipment.
Have solid knowledge of Mechanical, Refrigeration and Electrical systems.
Experience of design and project delivery of multiple bespoke capital equipment projects.
Responsible for overseeing tenders and presentations and ensuring all contracts are accurate.
Design of HVAC-R, industrial, cooling, dryer and Industrial systems.
Maintain a good clean and safe working environment and facilities.
Must have Managed multi-disciplined team members and oversee delivery of projects on time and within budget.
Work closely with Purchasing Manager to source cost effectively.
Drive the team and oversee delivery of project, processes to continuous improvement.
Managing a team of Electrical, Mechanical and Refrigeration Engineers
QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
- Ideally tertiary qualifications in either Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or Solar Power Systems.
- Good all round knowledge of HVAC-R and Refrigeration containers / systems
- Design experience using SolidWorks for Solar solution designs
- To listen to Electrical engineers and discuss power solutions
- Electrical system overview capability would be good.
- Strong Project Management team leadership.
