What will I be doing?
- Provide technical leadership to engineering teams to ensure that support services are delivered successfully and that all technical deliverables are met.
- Act as an internal and external contact point and advisor in relation to the delivery of engineering services to customers
- Develop and maintain a skills matrix that represents current team competencies & alignment with customer competency requirements
- Management and resolution of customer escalations relating to service delivery
- Ensure that relevant vendor certifications are obtained and maintained across the engineering teams
- Participate in strategic planning for key customers
- Actively track and report on utilisation across the engineering teams and provide capacity planning recommendations
- Promote a culture of service excellence and continuous service improvement.
What experience will I need?
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT Managed Services within Operational management disciplines.
- Proven knowledge & experience developing best practice ITIL aligned operational framework and processes for Managed Services environments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to drive improvement, change and innovation within the team.
