We are currently recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join our Engineering team in Mawson Lakes.
In this role you will:
- Manage the technical and administrative capability and performance of the Engineering and ILS functions at GDLS-A;
- Lead a small team of professional engineers;
- Represent GDLS-A Engineering externally up to customer EL2 level;
- Manage Engineering reach back activities to GDLS product centres in North America;
- Perform Integrated Logistic Support planning across several disciplines;
- Manage and perform technical investigations related to GDLS products;
- Assess provided configuration and other technical data for quality and accuracy;
- Organise and control data management;
- Document and present configuration data, technical data or project status as required,
- Implement capabilities in support of project requirements and timing.
The successful candidate will ideally have;
- Ability to show initiative and to organise, plan and action multiple tasks;
- An Australian Defence Security Clearance or have the ability to gain and maintain one;
- Ability to tailor a technical message appropriately for a technical or non-technical audience;
- Current data configuration management experience;
- Relevant qualifications and industry experience (5 years+) in a field of engineering preferably linked to defence or automotive.
