Our client, a leader in innovative energy solutions, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to spearhead the development and implementation of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). Key Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

• Provide technical expertise and guidance in the design, development, and implementation of Battery Energy Storage Systems.
• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Project Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from conceptualization to commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.

Design and Optimization:

• Lead the design and optimization of BESS components, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with R&D teams to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into BESS solutions.

Regulatory Compliance:

• Stay abreast of industry regulations and standards related to Energy Storage Systems.
• Ensure all BESS projects comply with relevant safety, environmental, and performance regulations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and business development, to align engineering strategies with overall business objectives.
• Work closely with external partners, vendors, and contractors to enhance project outcomes.

Quality Assurance and Testing:

• Develop and implement comprehensive quality assurance and testing protocols for BESS projects.
• Conduct thorough testing to validate system performance, safety, and reliability.

Budget Management:

• Manage engineering project budgets effectively, identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
• Provide regular financial updates and forecasts to senior management.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Proven experience in leading engineering teams, specifically in the field of Battery Energy Storage Systems.
• In-depth knowledge of Energy Storage technologies, grid integration, and renewable energy systems.
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Strong project management skills, including budgeting and resource allocation.
