Join a design and construct geotechnical specialist with more than 50 years of experience, working on some of the South pacific region’s largest infrastructure projects.
The RoleAs the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible leading the project team throughout mobilisation, construction, and completion phase. In addition, you will support project leadership to ensure projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and maintain quality and safety standards.
This is a 22 days on, 20 days off FIFO role from anywhere in Australia.
This role requires someone with an extensive knowledge within Geotechnical/Civil, Ground Improvement as well as managing teams.
Experience working within Papua New Guinea highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive project plan outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, and resources required.
- Develop strategies for risk mitigation and ensure that safety protocols are in place.
- Work closely with engineering teams to develop appropriate ground stabilisation methods based on soil conditions, project requirements, and industry standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, fostering a collaborative and positive working environment.

Requirements:
- Proven Engineering Management experience in Construction, Geotechnical and Soil
- 10+ years’ experience of Engineering Project Management experience or equivalent
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in managing third part sub contractors
- Previous experience working across different cultures highly advantageous
