You’ll feel a real privilege being a trusted caregiver in our patients, their families, their carers, and our communities’ lives.Where you'll be workingRoyal North Shore HospitalWhat you'll be doingThe Engineering Operations Manager manages the delivery of preventative and reactive maintenance activities for hospital assets through utilising in-house maintenance staff and external contractors.People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background encouraged to apply.Candidates will need to meet the following criteria: * Tertiary qualifications in an engineering discipline, suitable to qualify for membership of Engineers Australia, with extensive experience in asset maintenance management in a complex building environment.

• Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in effectively leading and managing a team of maintenance trade staff with ability to actively engage staff and influence a culture of best practice asset maintenance management.
• Demonstrated commitment to, and proven skills in, effectively managing contractor performance and compliance in daily operations onsite.
