About the Role:
Based in Bridgewater, Victoria, 3516.
As the Engineering Supervisor, you will be required to;
- Maintain all plant and equipment on-site, ensuring it is safe to operate and function as per design.
- Ensure engineering costs are controlled and in line with budget.
- Ensure required critical parts are stored on site or can be sourced from suppliers at short notice, minimising any unscheduled downtime.
- Arrange and constantly compare quotes to ensure the company is getting the best value for money.
- Plan and supervise all engineering work to be performed on site, ensuring each task is tightly controlled, completed to the required standard and completed on time and within budget.
- Effectively lead your staff in all aspects of people management, including providing guidance, support and development.
Requirements:
Ideally, suitable applicants will come from a Trade/Engineering background with experience in the below:
- Experience in the Food Manufacturing field is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of engineering and associated trades.
- Experience with managing/overseeing regular maintenance checks.
- Project Management experience/knowledge is highly desirable.
- Must be able to comfortably lead and collaborate with a team.
- Must be highly organised
- Must be flexible with working hours and weekend work.
- Forklift, Confined Space, EWP, Fumigation, and First Aid tickets/licenses are highly advantageous.
