Civil Engineer
As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing a wide range of civil engineering projects. You will work collaboratively with a team of experienced professionals, applying your expertise to create sustainable and efficient solutions. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting site visits and surveys to assess project feasibility and gather data;
- Preparing detailed engineering designs, plans, and specifications;
- Managing project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively;
- Collaborating with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project success;
- Conducting quality control inspections and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Civil Design Engineer
As a Civil Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing detailed design plans and specifications for infrastructure projects. You will work closely with clients, architects, and project teams to translate concepts into practical designs. Key responsibilities include:
- Utilising advanced design software to create accurate and efficient civil engineering models;
- Conducting feasibility studies and analysing project requirements;
- Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure integration of design elements;
- Performing calculations, simulations, and risk assessments to validate design solutions;
- Producing comprehensive design documentation and reports.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field;
- Eligibility for Membership of Engineers Australia, RPEQ or equivalent;
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of civil engineering principles;
- Proficiency in using relevant design software and tools – AutoCAD, Civil 3D, 12D, etc.;
- Experience with project management and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Current Queensland C licence.
