Barwon Health’s Medical Imaging Service (BMI) is an innovative team using state of the art equipment to provide comprehensive imaging and Interventional Radiology services in our specialised Angiography and Hybrid suites to the Barwon South West Region.
Our Medical Imaging Nurses provide clinical support at University Hospital Geelong (including our busy Angiography Suite and Hybrid lab), and other sites located at Youang Building, McKellar Centre, Barwon Health North Geelong and Colac. Working collaboratively with on-site Radiologists, Radiographers and administrative teams we pride ourselves on providing high quality consumer focused care.
As an Enrolled Nurse in Medical Imaging, you will enjoy diversity, supporting the Medical Imaging Team by providing consumer centred care to patients from the Emergency Department (ED), Barwon Health Wards and outpatients attending the imaging department who require nursing support. A large component of the Medical Imaging Nurse is assisting in procedural work. The Enrolled Nurse in Medical Imaging will work across CT, Ultrasound, MRI and our staelite facilities at Barwon Health North and Colac.
You will work with an innovative multidisciplinary team who maintain extensive knowledge and experience. You will have support and guidance from fellow team members and management who exhibit our Barwon Health values, respect, compassion, commitment, accountability and innovation.
