They are now looking to add to their team and are currently seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse to join their friendly team as the Supported Services Manager based in Mont Albert North.
About the Role:
Reporting to and working alongside the CNC, you will be responsible for supervising a team of PCAs to ensure excellence in care is continuously being delivered and should lead by example to inspire your team. We are looking for someone who has the utmost respect, empathy, and a passion for delivering a high standard of care and looking to further their career in this essential sector.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the core services, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to service standards.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage staff across various activities and disciplines including Service Desk, Repairs, Server, and Network.
- Flexibility to fill in for Personal Care Assistant (PCA) duties if necessary or if a replacement cannot be found.
- Manage customer expectations through regular service meetings and effectively address service issues.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous service improvement, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements related to health, safety, and human resource policies and procedures.
- Mandatory responsibility to carry the phone after hours to ensure timely response and support.
- Participate in organisational planning forums and collaborate with key stakeholders.
- Maintain the integrity, security, and operational effectiveness of all activities delivered by staff.
Required Skills & Experience
- Current registration as an Enrolled Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Previous experience in a leadership role within the Residential Services sector is preferred.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage staff and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and human resource management principles.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to quality improvement and client satisfaction.
- Focused on improving the quality of life of clients.
- Detailed knowledge of Aged Care accreditation standards, relevant legislation, and continuous quality improvement.
- Chinese speaking is preferred, but not essential.
- Ability to use computer software in the delivery of care services.
- Rights to work in Australia.
