With a positive reputation within the local community, the organisation has developed very robust processes and systems that will ensure residents are provided with continued high quality care and services at all times.
The role:
With the support of 2 x Clinical Managers', the Residential Services Manager will be responsible for maintaining effective control of all operational and clinical aspects of the home.
Duties will include:
- Staff recruitment, development and education with assistance and input from a dedicated HR team.
- Maintaining quality compliance across all areas of the home.
- Operational performance of the home including accreditation, financials and budgets and occupancy
- Ensuring strong relationships and effective communication is maintained with residents, their families, local community, government departments, and other key stakeholders
To be successful in this role, candidates will require:
- Previous Residential Aged Care Management experience, preferably in a large home.
- Current AHPRA registration as a Div 1 Nurse, preferred but not essential
- A genuine passion for working with the elderly
- Comprehensive understanding of new Aged Care Quality Standards quality management systems and AN-ACC assessment processes.
- Strong management skills with a natural ability to proactively lead, coach and mentor your team.
- A current police/NDIS check
- Proof of vaccinations
