- Full-time and continuing position
- HEWL 5: $72,059 - $81,732 per annum (3.25% increase in July) plus up to 17% superannuation
- Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus. As the roles are delivering face-to-face services on campus, candidates must be based in Townsville to undertake the role (remote working options not offered).
Delivering high-quality and accurate enrolment advisory services to students and staff regarding academic programs, mobility, enrolment and progression matters at JCU, you’ll work collaboratively with the Colleges and the Academy to ensure an integrated, responsive and student focused service. Contributing to a high performing culture within the Academic Administration and Enrolment team, you’ll provide timely and efficient administration of student enrolment processes and operational support whilst exercising superior attention to detail to maintain the integrity of student enrolment records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance. You will also have the opportunity to participate in events such as orientation, open days, enrolment advisory activities and career markets.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLETo succeed in this fast-paced role, you’ll bring a strong customer service background with skills in managing high numbers of inquiries, providing information and advice whilst exercising confidentiality and discretion with complex matters, preferably within a Higher Education setting. You demonstrate an ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies, procedures and processes, and acquire knowledge to inform others. Proficient in a range of computer software programs including the Microsoft Office suite with high attention to detail, you have strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage your own workflow and prioritise to ensure deadlines are met in a high-volume work environment. You also bring excellent communication skills with experience in dealing with people from a variety of backgrounds.
