About the Role:
The Enterprise Contracts Specialist plays an integral role in Identifying and managing sourcing opportunities across the Enterprise along with contract compliance and administration. The role works closely with the relevant Procurement and Category Managers and the broader Procurement, Property, and Fleet (PPF) Group to collectively drive sourcing process improvements, sourcing outcomes, and change management.
This position will manage key sourcing activities across the Enterprise as well as support the wider function with sourcing and tendering support, and contract administration and management. The role is responsible for the delivery of the procurement and tendering process and compliance with the business rules. Key to this role is undertaking a number of procurement activities including maintaining, gathering, and collating procurement vendors and the spending data to present recommendation(s) that drive value for money and improvement. This role supports the administration and management of key enterprise activities including travel management, hire car, digital renewals, stationery, and print. This role will also be supporting the exciting Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG) Corporate initiative, and its implementation success to meet the aim of net zero emission by 2050.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Experience within a Commercial and/or Procurement function.
- Demonstrated understanding of Procurement policy, and processes including tendering and contracts management.
- Proven abilities with Procurement tools such as SAP, Power BI Reporting, eProcure, and document management systems such as ECMS.
- Demonstrated ability to understand vendor data and develop strategic recommendation(s).
- Proficient numerical and analysis skills.
- Able to work independently and autonomously using experience and judgment to analyse data.
- Strong and proven stakeholder engagement experience.
- Excellent organisational skills with a focus on maintaining the integrity of vendor records in a simple, summarised, and easy-to-understand format.
- Demonstrated administrative experience, by way of providing support services as needed to a busy team.
- Desirable, but not a pre-requisite – a relevant qualification in Business, Procurement, Commercial or Supply Chain Management, or a related degree.
- Sound knowledge of procurement and tendering processes.
- Demonstrated comparable skills and experience in a Procurement function.
- Strong customer service, stakeholder engagement, and support skills.
- A strong technical understanding of Procurement tools.
- Working knowledge of Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG).
