We are seeking an Enterprise Risk Lead to join a NSW government organisation based in Parramatta / WFH on a 3 month contract.
About the Role

- Complete activities required in the implementation of strategies, plans and priorities to embed the Risk Management Framework and methodology across the company.
- Identify and implement improvements to the Risk Management Framework and Corporate Risk Management Plan.
- Partner with senior management regarding emerging risks, and the updating of the annual Corporate Risk Management Plan.
- Prepare reports on risk management performance for the ELT, Audit & Risk Management Committee and the Audit & Risk Committee.
- Provide subject matter expertise on the application of the Risk Management Framework to Risk Owners, Business Subject Matter Experts and Business Risk Champions.
- Lead the education of the business by designing and facilitating awareness sessions on the application of risk management processes and identified issues.
- Develop and implement business wide communications strategy for positive risk culture in line with the Risk Management Framework.
- Monitor and modify existing risk management policy, procedure and supporting tools to reflect current industry practice and requirements across the company
- Experience of Risk Management, with a strong focus on increasing capability of stakeholders.
