Form of workMain Roads Western Australia currently have an opportunity available for an Entry LevelTechnical Trainee – Materials. This position is based at our Derby regional office as part of the two year Materials Traineeship.
This two year Technical Traineeship will give successful applicants the opportunity to develop a variety of hands on experience, including but not limited to:
- Field testing on construction materials
- Laboratory chemical and physical testing of construction materials
- Operating and maintaining testing equipment
- Assisting with calibrating road testing and construction equipment
- Assistance with pavement and surfacing investigations
The role attracts a starting salary of $60 173 (base), plus superannuation.
