We are currently seeking a highly motivated Environment and Community Officer to join our Environment and Community team. The position is a permanent part-time contract, working a 30 hour week.
About the role:
As the Environment & Community Officer at Bulga Open cut you will primarily be responsible for coordinating all community relation aspects for the business. Key responsibilities will include community events, community projects, sponsorships and maintaining a stakeholder database.
About you:
To be successful in the role you will have:
- Experience in community relations, event coordination and project management
- Commitment to our people, the environment, our community, and continuous improvement
- Excellent Organisational skills and ability to work on multiple projects
- Ability to build and foster strong working relationships across all departments and with community stakeholders
- Highly consultative approach with other departments and contractors
- Sound working knowledge of Environmental Management Systems
