Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Environmental Consultant to lead an ISO 14001 accreditation program. The successful candidate will work closely with our consultancy firm to ensure that our environmental management system aligns with ISO 14001 standards. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our sustainability initiatives while collaborating with a dynamic team in the transportation industry.
Key Responsibilities:
This role offers flexibility, with the option to work 2-3 days per week from either their Sydney CBD or Macquarie Park office, and 2-3 days per week remotely. We are committed to providing a healthy work-life balance for our employees.

- Conduct thorough assessments of current environmental management practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish environmental objectives and targets.
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure staff awareness and compliance with ISO 14001 standards.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the environmental management system and recommend continuous improvements.
- Prepare documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on environmental regulations and best practices.
- Proven experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on ISO 14001 accreditation.
- Strong understanding of environmental management systems and ISO 14001 standards.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead initiatives from inception to completion.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify opportunities for process improvement.
- Relevant qualifications in environmental management or a related field.
