This interesting and varied role will see you providing technical flood advice, advice on development enquiries, working on development planning applications and being the lead on floodplain management projects and flood impact assessments across the Central Coast area. 

This position is required to provide quality customer service and create value for the community.

Key activities of this role include:

  • Developing and reviewing catchment specific flood and drainage related studies
  • Providing comment on draft flood studies, floodplain risk management studies and plans 
  • Facilitating strategic and specific projects and initiatives that may involve leading multi-disciplinary teams.

This role provides a commencing salary range of between $82.9k to $99.5k per annum dependent on skills and experience + 3.5% Civil Liability Allowance + 11% superannuation. 

A 9 day fortnight work-cycle currently applies to this role with flexible/hybrid working arrangements available.

Successful candidates may be required to undertake a course of vaccinations against Hepatitis A and B and Tetanus or demonstrate their immunity.
