Hobart Private is looking to employ Domestic Services Assistants to join their busy department on a casual basis. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients.
As a Domestic Assistant your responsibilities will include:
To undertake duties as per the facilities requirement's and as delegated by the facility manager such as
- Clean patient rooms, including bathrooms, toilets.
- Cleaning of floors, walls, mirrors and beds and bedside furniture.
- Cleaning of public areas including bathrooms, halls, waiting areas.
- Cleaning of offices, pan rooms, staff rooms, pantry's and kitchens.
- To be able to mop, Vacuum, sweep and dust clean blinds.
- To remove all rubbish and clean rubbish bins.
- Chemical use as per infection control guidelines.
- Remove and empty rubbish bins.
- Prior experience in Healthcare or Commercial cleaning.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision as well as a part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts - early/late shifts & weekend work and public holidays.
- Available for on call shifts.
- Good level of physical and mental fitness.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and follow all cleaning policy's or procedures.
- Ability to move between two sites.
- Willingness to be trained across both Domestic and Food roles.
