Northern Star’s KCGM Operations is currently seeking expressions of interest for an experienced Laboratory Technician to join the Processing Department in Kalgoorlie. The Laboratory Technician reports to the Laboratory Supervisor and their purpose is performing routine sampling (collection, filtering and analysis) as well as completing hypersaline duties and data entry, as directed, and reporting results in an efficient timely manner. ** This is a Kalgoorlie residential role on a 7/7 (12hr) Dayshift and Nightshift roster. The successful applicant will reside in the Kalgoorlie Boulder Region. ** Required skills and experience: Study towards Laboratory or Metallurgy preferred Knowledge of Metallurgical Laboratory environment and processes Previous laboratory experience essential Developed verbal and written communication skills High attention to detail Fault finding experience Must be able to work full time rostered hours Must reside locally in the Goldfields region National Police Clearance (valid within last 12 months) Current Unencumbered Western Australian manual 'C' Class Drivers Licence.
