What you will be doing?
- Core Priorities: Enhancing Team Collaboration, Achieving Excellence, Mastering Claims Management, Fostering Relationships, and Strategic Portfolio Oversight.
- Empower and Elevate: Guide, motivate, and elevate team members, ensuring strict adherence to policies, procedures, and standards within Claims Operations, including partnership agreements, to maximise team effectiveness.
- Performance Mastery: Conduct regular reviews of individual team members' performance against set targets, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
- Cultivate High Performance: Assemble and nurture a dynamic team characterised by engagement, proficiency, and alignment with the company’s values, ensuring all members are equipped with the necessary skills and capabilities.
- Optimise Claims Efficiency: Aim to reduce the overall cost of claims and liabilities, minimise expenditure, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure the diligent advancement of claims by each team member.
- Goal-Oriented Strategy: Establish clear, actionable objectives for each team member, aligning them with broader team goals to ensure collective and individual progress toward achieving operational excellence.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of five years of experience in claims operations.
- At least three years of leadership experience overseeing teams.
- Skilled in managing motor claims, with commercial claims experience preferred but not required.
- A tertiary education and/or certification from ANZIIF are strongly preferred.
