Responsibilities include overseeing payroll transactions, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing support to employees and management.Key Responsibilities:
- Execute payroll transactions accurately, including overtime, allowances, taxation, superannuation, and leave, while adhering to statutory and award stipulations.
- Verify and maintain accurate employee payroll configurations to uphold data integrity.
- Coordinate timely monthly deduction payments to relevant authorities and organisations.
- Generate detailed reports on payroll, superannuation, leave, and awards
- Collaborate with the People and Culture/HR teams to address payroll-related issues.
- Input data accurately from timesheets and various sources for each pay cycle.
- Ensure compliance with internal work procedures and maintain updated payroll documents.
- Handle sensitive payroll information confidentially and professionally.
- Promptly respond to emails in the Payroll inbox, conducting necessary research and investigations.
- Maintain meticulous documentation following filing conventions.
- Diploma-level qualifications in Payroll, Human Resources, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent practical experience in payroll functions.
